Clinical Studies & New Medicines

Latest research and treatments for Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma (ATC). The following studies are published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism and were funded by American Cancer Society.

Manumycin and Paclitaxel together help fight Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma cells

October 13, 2003
ONYX-015 virus kills Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma (ATC) cells
ONYX-015 virus kills anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (ATC) cells and enhances the antineoplastic effects of doxorubicin and paclitaxel. Our results suggest that the combination of ONYX-015 and radiotherapy should be considered for experimental trials in patients with anaplastic thyroid carcinoma.

Effect of Manumycin and Paclitaxel against Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma
We found that the combination of manumycin and paclitaxel enhanced the antitumor effects of both drugs against ATC. Our previous works have demonstrated that the combination of paclitaxel and manumycin improved their antineoplastic effect against ATC cells. In this paper we present data further showing that the combination of paclitaxel and manumycin provides improved antineoplastic activity in vivo without increased toxicity.

Poly-MVA

Poly-MVA.com
Poly-MVA was invented with the purpose of finding a non-toxic treatment for cancer. Many doctors recommend this nutritional supplement to their patients. Tests in animals and clinical experience in humans have shown that Poly-MVA has anti-cancer qualities. Poly-MVA is widely used in alternative cancer clinics in Mexico and other offshore locations. It has been widely used in the United States, usually under the guidance of a physician. While there have been no clinical trials up to now, there are sufficient reports of cures that trials are warranted. There are no known side affects of Poly-MVA.

New Liquid Ionic Cesium Chloride

Cesium Chloride
February 16, 2004

Cesium is one of the most alkaline elements. Otto Warburg won a Nobel prize for showing that cancer thrives in anaerobic (without oxygen), or acidic, conditions. Research by Keith Brewer, PhD and H.E. Satori has shown that raising the pH, or oxygen content, range of a cell to 8.0 creates a deadly environment for cancer. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, with numbers below 7 representing an acidic condition and above 7 representing an alkaline, or oxygenated, condition. When cesium is taken up by cancer cells, it raises the pH, or oxygen content, of the cell. The cells that die are absorbed and eliminated by the body.

Novel gene therapy delivery uses stem cells that target, attack tumors
Genetically engineered stem cells can find tumors and then produce biological killing agents right at the cancer site. Researchers say that this might be the first gene therapy "delivery system" capable of homing in on and then attacking cancer that has metastasized -- wherever it is in a patient's body.
